Audio narrative on NTL

    I just turrned on E4 and audio narrative is on while watching friends ive never used it or did not know we had it, how the question how do i turn it off?:mad::mad:

    Eh you can't. Most likely on the feed NTL are getting atm.

    I had to change channel and watch something I didn't want to because of that. Don't get me wrong, I think it is a good service but if I don't want it I shouldn't have to have it. I hope this goes away soon...

    Noticed this on Scrubs on E4 last night. Really annoying.

    I forgot to report it this morning. Did anyone call UPC (I'm training myself to stop calling them NTL :) )about it?

    It's on all E4, not just NTL, I'm sure you've seen the billion ads about it ?

    Yes, but shouldn't it be something you can choose to turn on or off just like subtitles?

    Its not on all of E4, its an option you can turn on or off (all though its not available on NTL) Rang NTL and they said it was a feed problem, and they are working to fix it.

    That makes a change from their usual response of "Have you checked all your connections? Try switching your TV off and on. No one else in your area has reported any problems, would you like to make an appointment for an engineer to call out next week?"

    In fairness they even had a pre recording saying this was happening to E4 - fixed now
