www.Evolvingsounds.com kicks off its weekly Friday night session 'We Love Fridays' in Traffic Abbey St with a bang this coming St Patricks weekend. Evolving Sounds and Traffic has the pleasure of welcoming no other then the legendary UK duo of The Hoxton Whores for what promises to be an explosive night of up front house music.

Its a wonder the Hoxton Whores have time to eat or sleep considering they are probably the busiest duo in dance music! Both Gary Dedman and Kevin Andrews have been chipping away at dance music for more than a decade, predominantly as producers and business partners, though more recently as globetrotting DJs. Their back catalogue reads like a dance music bible, and their tour diary like an airline departure board... to put it simply - the Hoxton Whores are massive!

The coming together of great minds stems back to more than a decade ago when the pair created one of the UK's biggest independent record distribution companies - Essential Direct. Having the world's upfront music at their finger tips 24/7 means they are always ten steps ahead of the rest. If you're on a dance floor and the Hoxton Whores are at the helm- you'll know about it.

In the studio the boys have churned out well over 150 dance floor smashes under their signature guise of 'Hoxton Whores', and as the following alias: Stereo Scum, Disco Darlings and Fun Da Mentalist. Their remixology reads like the A-Z of the world’'s biggest artists and their cheeky bootlegs are infamous on the club scene! Their production work last year reeks of success with two cuts snapped up by the massive Ministry of Sound’s
flagship label - Data, those being 'Friday Saturday Love' and the follow up single, 'Lost In Ibiza' which is heading your way soon just in time for summer. The Hoxton Whores debut artist album is on course for a major release in 2008, and will include some very special surprises... you've been warned! In the meantime, the boys suggest keeping your eyes peeled for brand new tracks 'Sunrise', 'Fusion', 'Numerology' & 'Druma' their most recent exploits from the studio, four great thumping tracks set to burn up the dancefloor?

At a Hoxton Whores gig, you'd be forgiven for thinking it was Christmas. As a DJ act; you won't find more energy in a duo anywhere in dance music! They've an uncanny knack for whipping any audience into a complete frenzy, whether it's from their inability to stand still, or their love of throwing freebies into the crowds. They’ve performed at some of the biggest festivals including Glastonbury, and this year look forward to returning to Ibiza after their success as the Dusted residents last year. They have just returned from China & Dubai over Christmas and the New Year period and throughout February have a very busy tour schedule of Australia & India lined up followed by a three week tour of South Africa in March. You can catch them for a week performing at the Merribel Snowbombing festival in April and throughout the summer a very busy schedule is planned!!

Watch out for further exciting developments with the Hoxton Whores LIVE project that combines their immense DJing and production talent and takes it to the next level. More than your average ‘live’ dance act the deranged duo throw in a percussionist, keyboard player, three vocalists, sexy dancers and rumour has it the kitchen sink too, creating an explosive and unforgettable musical experience like no other! Once a massive summer is done and dusted, the boys will be unleashing yet another monster project entitled 'Whore House'... the mind boggles as to how this is going to be received, but our money is on London's club scene taking a massive kick up the proverbial back end!

Added to that they are continuing their relentless march to international domination, with tours of Australia, South Africa, Asia, Russia, Dubai, South America & the USA lined up for 2008 already not to forget their UK residencies and repeat performances playing for all of the biggest names in clubland, come 2009 the whole world will recognise the name Hoxton Whores!

Keep your ears peeled and keep watching www.evolvingsounds.com / www.hoxtonwhores.com
where you can be kept up to date with all their goings on & download new releases!!
