Lightstand for flash + umbrella?

    I have a Nikon SB600 flashgun and a tripod. I recently bought an umbrella-type thing to diffuse the light. The flashgun has an accessory that screws into the quick release plate on the tripod. But where do I stick the umbrella? (be kind :eek: )

    So I think I need a new tripod/lightstand that will take the umbrella and flash. Does anyone have any suggestions? I tried searching on strobist but I'm hopeless at searching websites so I didn't find anything.

    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for the replies, guys. Bradnailer wins the award for posting a picture (the strobist link)!! Just what I needed. I have to phone barkers tomorrow anyway about an item on backorder so I'll show them this photo and ask if they have one that suits me.

    @Paddy - I've used speedgraphic before and they're good. Sadly, this time, I need my thingamagig by the weekend.

    I have one. Be warned you may need a lightstand as well, as opposed to tripod as the mounting is different.

    Lightstand = http://www.mpex.com/browse.cfm/4,4728.htm kinda thing

    Yah you'll need a light stand too.

    And if you're planning on using the Nikon CLS for the love of all that is holy use electrical tape on the bit of the umbrella adaptor where your SB600 slots in, to avoid metal on metal scraping with the contacts on the flash foot, thereby rendering your flash useless.
