    Hi all....
I was wondering if there was a word in Irish for "fairies"? I can find reference to fairy (singular) but not the plural.
Any help would be very welcome from a very early beginner!!:o

I think it's "na daoine maith" i.e. "the good people".

I know shag all Irish now :( but I think I remember that one from school.

What level is your 'youngster' at?

I still think that síoga is a better word. It is proper irish - not the bad irish mar shampla carr nó veann nó lúcosáid(i kid you not - it appears in the inis dom books alongside cóc)
