    Very good price...

    450D is out soon, so looks like they are trying to get rid of stock. Very good price for a very good camera, especially those looking to get their first DSLR:

    The 450D is already out, its for sale on pixmania.

    The above is a great price though, €100 cheaper than pixmanias current price for a 400D

    I've booked a €450D with Komplett. Due April 8th. Cost €799. The same camera is €960 on pixmania.ie

    There's also €60 cashback on the 400D. so that's €478(not including delivery from komplett).

    The promotion also includes some lenses if people aren't interested in the camera.

    That 18-55 lens bundled with the 400d is supposed to be a piece of junk. Better off just getting the body and buying a nicer lens separate.

    wouldn't say that now, i took most of my earlier pics with it, quite a few I was rather pleased with.

    Hey, if you say that you were pleased with the 18-55 then thats great, but when I was researching the 400d before buying, 90% of the reviews complained about the lens.

    For ~ 600 you can get the 400d and a quite-deadly lens separately if you look around online.

    I got the canon 400d for €330, a sigma 17-70 for €260 + 8gb extreme III for €50 = €650

    Although the 18-55 may be a good all-round lens for general phototaking.... Like your grannys birthday or something :D

    The kit is a good training lens but you'll soon grow out of it. Its a good one to have while you get used to an SLR and decide what way your photography takes you.
