Photobooks

    Hi All,

Really hope you can help me. I want to get a present of a photobook for a friends of mine who got married a few years back and are christening their first child in a few weeks - baby boy. Incidently, they are very close friends and I am godfather for the child so looking for a bit of a personal touch.

Anyway, have quite few photos from their wedding and would like the first few pages to contain these photos while also leaving the remainder of the book empty so that photos of the baby as it grows up can be added as they are taken over the next few years. I obviously don't want to be sticking photos to a page so was hoping that something might exist out there whereby you can sandwich a photo between two pages, with the top page acting as a frame. Not sure how clear I made that :|

Does anything like this exist or am I wasting my time?

Even a high quality book with framed card pages that allow photos to be slid into? Am way out of my comfort zone here if you hadn't guessed :)

Agreed. I've gotten several from Photobox.ie (including one wedding). They're top class and reasonable. There was a problem with a loose page in one and it was replaced without quibble.

    Thanks for the replies lads.

Been having a look and I know what I want. I want a pretty high quality photobook whereby the first few pages would be printed using the photos that provide while the remainder of the books pages would be sleaves (not plastic if possible) that will allow photos (some full page, some of varying size and shape) to be added as the child grows up.

Is there anywhere in Dublin that do these sorta things? Am not really that concerned as to how much it ends up costing. Just want to be happy with the end product.

If it was not possible to get say a quarter printed and remainder as high quality sleeves, all high quality sleeves would be good enough.

Hope this isn't too late, but.

    www.blurb.com is excellent

And much more control over the content than photobox, better quality too I reckon.
