Hey guys. My mate who works in Harvey Normans in Rathfarnham has given me his update on reduced laptops.

I only have a price on 1 which is the Samsung X22. RRP of €1499 down to €749!!

he told me they loose a shed load on each one but want to get rid of stock before they move.

I'd guess it is moving across the road beside where Homebase has just moved to. Dunno though.

yeah they are moving beside Homebase across the road. when the move happenes they will be the biggest branch with bedding and so forth..

poped in today and 50% of their laptops are upto 50% off until they sell out.

Notice anything on Televisions? Was thinking of heading up myself in an hour or so.

im not sure. my mate works pcs and doesnt know a thing about TVs. i saw signs everywhere on the tellys though

Computer deals were good. TV's weren't great. They gave about 100 euro off the models which were originally around 1,100.

They have a couple of these as of today. Genuinely, that's a very good price and a very nice lappy. Brushed aluminium, very swanky, build quality seems very good. Not a Dell-style plastic brick laptop anyway.

It's 14" and off the top of my head the ones they were offloading are 2.2Ghz T7500 200Gb, 2Gb ram.

The RRP is a load of cobblers (you'll get one online for around a grand), but regardless, €742 is a great price for this.

I was up there this evening and this laptop wasn't on sale at all. I asked sales rep and no joy. There was however the Samsung R20 plus marked down from €1099 to 600/700 I think.....
