Why did Boards find it nessesary to completely remove BFSL post about their withdrawal of membership to the I.A.A.?

We all saw it, and were told that if we were not directly involved, or had the correct facts, then we were best to stay out of it. Which we have. but I'm still curious as to why the mods removed the post completely, if they had nothing to do with the I.A.A. position in this matter, why did they find it nessesary to eradicate the post?

I soft deleted it. It has not been 'eradicated'.
I did this because the issue is between MIA and the IAA. It has nothing to do with boards.ie. I wanted each party to have their say and let that be that. However, there seems to be quite a bit more to it than I had originally known about. Therefore the situation is best left off forum and dealt with privately.

If you have a problem with me deleting a thread, pm me about it. Don't start a fresh thread as that then negates me deleting the previous one.
