wannabe kickboxers

i was just wondering what the deal with some karate instructors around the country suddenly becoming kickboxing experts. I do stress SOME and not all. they train for year in karate and all of a sudden they lead students into the ring where they are not ready to fight, and knocks the confidence of the student.
Its like a kickboxer saying they are taekwon-do experts !

I did kickboxing for a while, loved it. My point was Tae Kwon Do is too much like dancing for my liking.
