I hope I have selected the correct forum, apologies if I haven't

    Quick question:

How secure are images hosted at the likes of imageshack? Are they available for public veiwing/searching?

I know about hosting images safely online with the likes of kodak & google etc., I'm just wondering specifically about the above. Any info greatly appreciated :)

Do you mean: can anyone see the private picture I've uploaded to imageshack?

Yeah, more or less. If I up load an image is it available to the public?

I guess it would depend on whether the site:

    1. Gives you a hard to guess URL
    2. Doesn't offer a search facility based on filename or something like that

Personally if I had a sensitive photo I wanted to share, I'd put it on my own server with a random filename, and only for a short amount of time.

If its sensitive the internet is not your friend and would be the last place id put it.
Be it email or be it any photo storage.

Anything personal or sensitive gets kept encrypted on my home pc.

If your asking this question the stuff shouldn't be let near the internet.
