I've got €10K to spend on a car. I'm thinking along the lines of a mondeo, almera. Not interested in getting a small car.

Any suggestions on what I could get for that type of money and what year?

    Petrol or Diesel?
Highest mileage you would look at?
Oldest you are willing to go for?
    Saloon, Hatchback or Estate?

For low mileage, you would get this for 10K cash, same size as an Almera:

    Higher Mileage:

well, since I'm planning on getting a new car, I have a 01 Skoda Octavia vRS 1.8T (180bhp) for sale. You can get it for a great price cause it's got high mileage. But it has been well looked after and is in good nic.
let me know if your interested.

Hmm, if that's what you'd call a car well loaded with extras, I'd hate to see the base spec, the only thing I'd consider an bonus with that over other cars would be the on board computer.

    OK, maybe I'm easily pleased..
Traction control, climate control, 130bhp, bullet proof relyability, good looking car... Under €10K

I think this puts folks off....

Ok Its based on the 4inch stretched passat floor pan.. who wouldnt take an extra 4 inches ;)

Funny that the Chinese market requested this from VW ? I've been told this was for non driver owners....
