If your studying in Nui Galway please read this!!

Hi folks,

I'm doing my final project for my B.A. in Training and Education with Nui, Galway. I'm analysing if the delivery of training and education is more effective with the use of technology and eLearning, rather than delivery only, through the more traditional, face to face method (bit of a mouthfull!!).

Would greatly appreciate, if those of you exposed to elearning and studying with Nui Galway, would complete my really short survey. It would really help me out a lot as I am now living in Australia and it has been difficult to source people to complete the survey.

perhaps define explicitly at the top of the survey what exactly you mean by e-learning. It's a very broad term...

I'm afriad I cannot make any changes to the survey once it has commenced (without closng the survey). I can make a few comments here though. The simplist definition of e-learning that I have come accross is:

E-learning is a general term that relates to all training that is delivered with the assistance of a computer. Delivery of e-learning can be via CD, the Internet, or shared files on a network. E-learning also includes Internet-based Learning, Web-based Learning, and Online Learning.

Folks I've now closed the survey as my project is due in under 4 weeks :eek:

A big thankyou to all those who completed the survey. A total of 39 responses were received (not just from through boards but the vast majority were from boards). I'm just writing up a report on responses so once I've this done I'll post it here. If any of those who responded would like more info just drop me a PM.

As promised I'll give a prize to one of those that completed the survey. Say a DVD from play.com? So far only janeybabe has posted that she responded. If you did complete the survey post back here before Friday and I'll include you in the draw.
