Relationship Advice

    Hey,

I'm lost at the moment and I don't know what to do.

I'm currently with my gf for 6 months, soon to be 7. We get along great but recently it has just got a bit boring. Perhaps it's just that the initial lovey-dovey stage is over. She is loving, caring and kind and just great in general but not stunning in the looks department.

Problem is that I'm finding myself more and more attracted to a girl in work. We get along great. First time I met her I noticed her stright off and said to myself "wow". Everyday this week I just wished I was single. I would never contemplate cheating so I guess that's why I want to be single. I feel really really bad about this. I feel like I'm cheating on my girlfriend at the moment!

What have people in similar situations done?

Should I follow my heart and go with this girl from work or should I just leave things the way they are and stick with my girlfriend??

    Appreciate any replies.

It's hard to say without knowing the age of the both of you.

What it really comes down to is 'Do you see a future with your girlfriend?'. If not, it'd be best for it to finish before you do something that you will regret.

It's worse to string someone along having them think you're happy, just be honest with people, relationships are tough enough at times, but the hurt comes from dishonesty. Id rather telling me something straight up any day.

I don't think you are doing your girlfriend any favours by staying with her. I think you know this relationship has run its course.

To be honest it should be ride-a-f8cking-rama. Go and sew your wild oats my friend. Lovely girl by the sounds of things but at 20 (or any age) you shouldn't stay with someone becuase they are a lovely person. It's awful, if you are mad about her it is a very daunting task but if you don't want to take her over the washing machine after 6 months then you need to get the hell out. Now.

Be a gentleman. Finish with GF, and go for the work girl.

You do have to be attracted to the person, we have all been in situations where you get on you think she's super but don't really fancy her and really don't want to hurt her feelings. I've been there, girls have been that way to me, just the way it is. Honesty is the best policy though, really is the only way forward.

I reckon chance your arm with the chase at work and see where you go. If it doesnt kickoff with her then at least you will still have a squeeze on the go and you will be sorted. You've only been with the other girl 5 mins, so dont worry about it. Your young get on with it.

    Thanks for the replies guys/girls.

The sex life in my current relationship is great and I cannot fault it one bit. I guess it does come down to the spark between the people.

I've no idea what to say though. I want to be honest, but I dont want to break her heart. :(

The kindest thing you can do right now for your current girl (and yourself) would to be totally honest and split with her. I know it mightn't initially be an easy thing to do, but you'll feel alot better for it in a months time.

Right i'm just after finding out that my gf's Granddad is in his last weeks... He had been sick in hospital for a while, but only got word today that his progress ain't improving. :(

She is cut up about it. Should I just wait until after things have died down?

You know your girlfriend, you know she loves you and wants you. You know what she's like. I don't think you should give up on that for someone you're physically attracted to. And maybe you'll say but she's really nice, what's she like 24 hours a day. Don't blame your girlfriend for it getting boring, maybe that's your fault. Stick with it for a while, try with your girlfriend before you go running to the greener side
