Maths symbols... anywhere which explains them in plain English?

    Hello

    There are lovely symbols and letters used in Maths. Even though I did a couple of years Maths in college, I don't think I ever really understood what they all mean! :eek:

    Is there a website anywhere which lists to common symbols and explains them in plain English?
