In 2005, I applied for the PSNI and though I passed the aptitude test I dropped out.

I've some books I bought back then and they're free to anyone who may find them useful

    Police Training Manual
    Nearly 800 pages long

    Preparing for Police Duty

I think I've a few books on aptitude tests around the place, I'll try to find them but promising nothing.

If these are useful to a PSNI applicant then I can meet around Dublin city centre any weekday lunchtime.
If you wanted them posted, it'll cost a bit. I don't know how much, they are heavy books.

    Post here anyway.
Oh mods, moderater PSNI has ok'ed this thread
Free section of adverts.ie is full of timewasters in my experience

    I'd love to take them.

Although I'm applying for the GS rather than PSNI, - waiting for my physical now - i'm sure a lot of things translate, also it would be good to see how it's done across the border, something to compare.

Ok, I'll be as fair as can as I ain't taking hassle when I'm doing posters a favour. I've some experience of adverts.ie and some positive feedback and that's from not messing people around.

You replied first and I will reply to your PM. You want it posted and you only want the Police Training Manual? It won't be free but you can have it. But it is based on UK law so be warned

You in Dublin? Preparing for Police Duty is yours. A smallish book but interesting. If I find any aptitude books they are yours too. Reply back on this thread if that's ok :)
