My wife visited family in February 2007 and has just received a notice saying that she was in a bus lane in Glaslough Street, but cannot remember there ever being a bus lane in Glaslough Street.
Can anyone confirm or deny the existence of that bus lane?

Well, if you're talking about Glaslough street in Monaghan town, it's only one lane once you pass the Garda Station. There are no dedicated bus lanes in Monaghan town. Was she possibly parked in the bus depot and blocking the buses there?
It's possible when the road works on that street were in progress last year that there was a dedicated bus lane. At the moment there definately isn't one on it.

Thanks Butcher and raintonite!
Unfortunately the notice doesn't say where on Glaslough Street it was, but my wife swears blind that she definitely didn't get any tickets and as she knows the town very well, I think she'd remember!
