    Has anyone any thoughts on the latest offerings from Aldi coming out 13/03/08?

    Medion PC - Q6600, 3GB RAM, 500Gb HDD, 8600GT gfx, DVD/RW, WLAN DraftN, Card reader, TV Tuner+remote. Has SCART, DVI, HDMI, Firewire, USB 2.0.

    Not a bad looking system - pretty similar spec to my own.

    Added up say...

    CPU - €200,
    RAM - €75
    HDD - €85
    GFX - €90
    DVD - €30
    Card Reader - €25
    Tv tuner - €80
    Wireless K/B+Mouse - €20
    Remote - €30
    Case - €40
    PSU - €40

    - Looks pretty good value. They're also doing a 22"LCD for €265.

    nothing on their website about the 13th yet?? i work in aldi and i havn seen that... there was laptops last week.. do u mean them?? they have base stations too from a few weeks ago.. 599.99.. very similar specs...

    €729 I think, although I haven't got the leaflet handy (it might be €769). They're also doing a 500GB external HDD for €100. Yeh, I checked the website but no mention there yet.
