I'm looking for two stay 2 nights in dublin during the week, to help ease my commuting annoyance to work. Can anyone recommend a good B&B near Dun Laoghaire area or a Budget hotel on the south side of the city?

    Thank you inadvance.

Moving to the South Dublin forum. Local info might be better for this.

Might be a bit late for this (and a bit obvious) - any tourist office in Dublin will have a list of B&Bs and hostels (with private rooms) around Dun Laoghaire - it's better served with accommodation than many areas of Dublin because of the ferries. Just pop in to a tourist office and ask for a printout (free) of a list of places with their addresses and phone numbers. If they direct you to a particular place (e.g. "A lot of people stay in XYZ B&B") it could be the closest thing they can do to a recommendation.
