Heading to Atlantic City the weekend after next - does anyone have any advice or suggestions on playing poker there? Specifically, which venues are the best, and is there any omaha played there?

Heading there myself in 10 days and was wondering the same thing, is it as much a kip as I'm led to believe? I'll be coming down from New York and might only stay 1/2 nights depending on people's opinions...

I played there about a year ago hadnt much choice at the time as to where i could play as i wasnt 21.

I played the tropicana good game selection plenty a $1-2 games running a few $2-5 and 1 $5-10 think this was mid week as well.

The biggest most high profile casino is the borgata its a good bit of the strip never got a chance to visit it.

I wouldnt get to worked up about it, was a bit of a let down, well worth a look if your in new york.

    this could be handy

If you are in Atlantic City you have to play the Taj Poker room (where Matt Damon played in Rounders). Stick to the boardwalk there as it's a dingy city beyond. The Borgata is also well known but would probably require a cab. I would not recommend walking around at night.
I liked AC alot but the only time you would venture out would be to go to a casino other than the one you are in.
