Well my computer has been out of action for quite a while. The new computer arrived today and I've been able to play around with a couple images.

With school, I haven't really been able to get much practice shooting but here is three photos I like for C&C. :)

First one is a bit dark on my screen, second one is a nice abstract but I would concentrate on the brown background on the left. Love the last one, such beautiful and overlooked flower (?)

Those would be the seeds after the flower has has withered up.

Agree with Borderfox that all three seem a bit dark on my screen (especially no. 1) - for no.1 I'm not sure about the crop - it's on the edge of fitting everything in...

2nd and 3rd look nice - the glass almost looks like ice at first.

I would agree that they look a bit dark alright. Could be my screen. Its just, I found when I lightened them up they just didn't look right. Maybe I'll try it again. :)

I actually didn't crop number 1 at all, just didn't get the very tips of some of the petals in the picture originally. :o

    Thanks for the fedback. :)

Lol there's also "cropping with your feet" ;) - it just made me feel a bit disjointed from the photo (maybe you should crop a bit more off to immerse the viewer further into the flower's centre?)

I really like the third. For some reason, it is the grass behind the subject that is really doing it for me.. Think it may be the colour.

No doubt you guys will be familar with wallpapers that have a small photo in a polaroid type frame sitting in the middle of them - I think this image would really work in one of them.
