    Hello,

I have a friend who wants to move to Balbriggan. There is alot of rental accomadation available at the moment in several areas liek Moyleragh, Tara court, Bremore Castle, Barnwall Court and Cardy Rock etc etc but as she doesnt know Balbriggan she doesnt know which is best.

She is looking for a nice quiet area with plenty of parking but would still like to be located close to the local amenities liek pubs, resteraunts, cinema, shopping, etc. She would ideally prefer a house and is willing to spend up to 1700 per month on rent.

Can you tell me what the best areas in Balbriggan are and what area you think would be most suitable?

    Thanks alot.

Areas like Hampton Cove, Fancourt Heights, Derham Park, Craoibhin Park, Curran Park, Market Green, Clonard Street, Tara Court & Cove are mostly older settled areas and owner occupied with parking either off street or on street or both. The same can be said for newer areas like Chapel Gate, Pine Ridge and the smaller areas of the same age, Hampton Green included.

Housing to the north-west of the town Moyleragh, Bremore Castle, Barnwall Court, Cardy Rock, Ashfield, Brega, Mount Rochford, Bracken Wood and to the immediate south of the town in the newer area of Castlelands Court and View have a high level of investor properties and as such quite a few are unoccupied and occupied by under rental conditions either privatively or by means of the state. Most offer only communal parking (allocated and unallocated).

Like all areas good people live in both the new and the old of Balbriggan. While a house in the newer area of Balbriggan are most likely more modern, with rooms en suite and perhaps multiple bathrooms, hosing housing in the old part of Balbriggan tends to offer a more settled lifestyle with estates maintained by FCC.
