How to record audio from internet?

    there's some audio on a website that I'd like to download/record.
    Is there any way I can manage this- someone mentinoed turning the soundcard on itself to record.....

    You can use Audacity to record from the speakers.

    I use Mp3 my Mp3 recorder. It records whatever sounds are on your computer. Then if need be, i cooledit it to get rid of blanks.
    I just searched for these links, no guarantee they work.

    i downloaded some other software (mp3-wma-recorder.com)but it only allows me to record 140 seconds of any song...unless I buy the full product...

    I was looking for something like this a few days ago and didn't find anything really that I wanted. I'll give some of these a shot though!

    At the moment it's some music on Myspace so don't have the possibility to play in real player....

    Mp3MyMp3 is free as far as i know.
    Cooledit might be a different story
