job interview and sick

So I have a job interview next week and would welcome people's opinions on a couple of things

I've got an injury at the moment so I'm using crutches to get around. I can walk unaided but look like Quasimodo if I do so.

Should I bring the crutches to the interview?
Should I say something about the injury, explaining it is temporary or just ignore it?
I don't look good in a trouser suit as I've such a short body so usually wear a skirt suit to a job interview. Not sure what the trade off is between skirt that looks polished but with oedemic legs or suit that looks cheap?

Why should you!? Unless the injury would prevent you from doing the job, then you've no need to mention it .. at all.

If it were me, i would bring the crutches, but explain briefly the cause of the accident or whatever.

If I was giving that interview, and you didnt mention anything about the crutches, the first thing I would think after the interview would be: why is she on crutches? and is it something permament?

So i believe you should mention what happened, that they are temporary, make light of the crutches, and then get on to the real business of the job interview!

Take the crutches, you need them to get around, and they should have no impact on your prospects for the job. Briefly explain the reason and how long you expect to be on them.

If you had a broken arm, you wouldn't take off the cast, would you?

As for the skirt issue, I'd say wear the pants suit, but try to get one with a short-fitting jacket, ie finishing just below the waist to give you more balance.
