iPoker troubles

Hi, I've started using iPoker to play some sats for the IO. For some reason the software works really slow on my connection. I have a good broadband connection and have never had problems playing on full tilt, stars etc. Is there anything I can do to help speed it up? At the mo its like playing in slow mo.

If it's a wireless connection then you're going to forever be running into problems because the iPoker client deals horribly with packet loss and instead of catching up with the action when a consistant connection is restored, it just loses the action and folds you .
