Meteor PAYG Tariff Question

Well I ported over to Meteor in December on the Anytime Xtra plan to get the free meteor to meteor texts and phone a friend for free. I was under the impression that the benefit of Anytime Xtra over Anytime Plus was the free texts(and obviously fone a friend for free).

Looking at the meteor site today (http://www.meteor.ie/personal/pay_as_you_go/latest_offers/free_sms_5c_calls/t_and_cs/) it implies that free texts are available on anytime plus which would mean I am paying 5c extra on every call just for the benefit of phone a friend for free.

On the above link it states "The Offers are open to new and existing PAYG customers joining and making a chargeable call on the Meteor network on the Anytime Plus, Anytime International or Leisure Time Plus Tariff Plans"

Anyone reckon it's a typo and should say Anytime Xtra? Or is anyone on Anytime plus and receiving the free texts?

no, it includes anytime plus. just goes to show you should read the t&c.

yes you are paying 5c extra per minute for the free calls to that one number.

Basically, Anytime Plus has an offer of 5c Meteor to meteor Calls OR free Meteor to meteor texts.

Anytime Xtra has Free Meteor to meteor Texts AND Free calls to any one Meteor Number.
