    Well folks, any predictions.

I just had a look at cricinfo and this appears to be the first test in Hamilton since 2004. Seems to be a batters pitch so I'll plug for a draw

New Zealand there for the taking IMO.

Having said that I hope they win ;)

Listening in the car, Bell seems to have broken a wrist or arm fielding at short leg.

Knowing my luck, I'll get to the TV when its lunch!

Bell's wrist only bruised apparently - he won't thank the bowler though, when you're fielding at short leg you don't want the bowling to be a half-tracker on leg stump!

Honours even on Day 1 - I think England should win the game though.

Would'nt be too sure yet, Patel and Vetorri have to bowl.

New Zealand are wretched test side if you want roof watch their hilariously shamabolic performance against South Africa in their last test series! Apart from West Indies they are the worst of the 8 established test playing nations. England really should win.

At about 10.30 Aggers called it an "incredibly generous declaration". 30 minutes later it was 30-4. Well done black caps.
