Depends on what you are doing and where.

I've had lots of dealings with Capita in the UK and wouldn't recommend them personally.

my gf worked for Capita as an admin, talking to and getting abuse off tans the whole time, basically they do the admin for the UK y'know. Basically loads and loads of work and won't hire anyone... well except now it seems, supposed to be a joke of a place but my gf moved to another place similar and says they're all the same so take from that what you will

Capita are close on one of the worst outfits I ever worked for and I have had lots of jobs in Ireland UK and mainland Europe and the only thing that can beat them as worst ever is BT who I worked for once and that was a real bad experience
Capitia is a typical cheap skate UK outfit that supplies bad pay and bad work enviorment for equipment and excessive work loads and will sell their grandma for 10c without batting an eyelid and the worst street criminal has more ethics than that outfit but they operate in that iffy legal grey zone so they cant be caught

No idea about Met life but best rule is if it UK outfit thats a for sure a big minus factor as I say

Having survived BT and British management generally in various companies you don't need BIN Laden baby and Al Qiada to sabotage the UK just leave British management at it they will f*** it up big time for sure with no outside help from anybody else
And worse we Irish are starting to get stupid like the Brits letting that Capitia outfit darken these shores and it will probably f*** us up big time

    derrry

I've worked for Capita and from moving on to another employer I would never work for Capita again.

Any promotions within the company depend on who you know not what you know or if your capable of doing the job.

Ha, I'm sitting in Capita right now. I'm only temporary though.

Think I got off lightly, most of the people around me seem fairly overworked. Compulsory overtime at weekends. Seems like a lot of work for sh*t pay. A fair few staff members have left since I started about a month ago too.

Myself, I've not so much work to do, so the job isn't awful. But yeah I'd probably avoid working here permanently.

Thats mad, what does everyone here do in capita? My girlfriend is going in as an accountant and the money is really good.

When they have enough accountants that they can pay them buttons and treat them like crap then they will turn on the screws

Us minor plebs at the coal face doing the crappy jobs get worked way harder than similar companies for the same work and paid less

good luck Irish guys girl friend but what they do onto the small fry will go further up the ladder over time like all UK outfits that sold their grandma for 10c years ago

infraction for derry. Don't think you've posted on topic in any post on work&jobs i've seen in the last day. This is the mildest of those posts.
