Is there any club in the limerick area that does 1/10 electric road racing or is anyone interested in setting up a club/venue to go racing. If enough people are interested and committed it could be a runner:)

    Hi APC,
I know there are a few guys trying to set up an 1:8 Off Road Buggy Club in Newcastle West but I'm not aware of any other rc clubs in the area.

Would be great to see a club for 1:10 Touring Cars in Limerick and if there is anything I can do to assist you in getting one off the ground I'd be more than happy to help out.

I'm sure a number of the drivers from the Fermoy and Dublin clubs would be happy to travel to Limerick to support your efforts if you can find a suitable venue.

What 1:10 Touring car do you have yourself?

    Regards,

    Oisin

I race a Serpent S400 in EP Touring Cars.

Might be a bit of drive for you but on March 30th we have the final round of the Interclubs Championship for 1:10 EP Touring cars on in Celbridge. Would be a good event for you to check out to get ideas for you own club and to make some good contacts for the future.

You got any venue in mind in your area that would be suitable for an indoor or outdoor track?

Another Limerick racer! That makes two of us, then! Though I never really owned a race quality car, just the TT01s and the Minis...

Would you believe I sold it for parts? Apparently they're great for building scale off roaders with! To be honest I've done nothing for my RC's in about 6 months, I went to my spare room look at all my gear yesterday I and place is in a state. I think it's time for a clean up and clear out, maybe just hang on to the stuff I'll actually use, and flog the rest...
