Wanted:Sports Hall For Judo Club

    I am looking for available time in a sports hall in the north side of cork city to start a judo club. I have mats and some members but i need a location. any Suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

    Don't know if this will be of any help but there are martial arts clubs who train at the following locations on northside of cork, maybe one of these halls would be able to accomodate you too?

    The Glen,
    Mayfield sports complex
    Farranree primary school

    Cheers charlie. the problem i`m having is that most places are booked out but i`ll keep trying anyway. i haven`t tried the farranree primary school yet though.

    i train in the glen resorce centre. aidan cotter has the samurai judo club there now.

    try the rock steps on blarney street? my friend runs a kung fu school there on tuesday and thursday, but i don't know what other times are available.

    drop into the hall and see what they can do for you??

    try one of the many thai gyms down there one has bjj another has judo in it so the other might be looking some thing else in it

    hopefully two nights. i want to do at least one kids class wich will have to be early enough and the adults class aren`t too fussy with the time within reason. monday and wednesday preferably.

    thanks for your input lads. just a little update on our situation. we finally got out of the situation we were in and now have a new location for the club in mayfield. training times remain the same for anyone who is interested. adults monday and wednesday at 7 and children monday at 5:30 and wednesday at 6:00. thanks again for all the help. cheers for your offer too liam. it actually helped me not to lose faith in martial arts altogether. a bit drastic i know but the pressure was on at the time.
