Keep the people IMO.

Adds some perspective to the scene.
I'd crop out some of the space on the left however.

That would make it a great shot for me.

Defo keep them I think. I did a quick edit there on my machine -

levelled the horizon
cropped out the empty space at the left
adjusted curves to bring out more detail in the misty areas.

I can post it or pm if you like - I think it looks better anyways?

I think the crop and the level horizon is better but I think its a bit too dark but that's just my taste or my badly configured lcd in work

I'd re-crop along the lines that Beef did, keep the people, and remove the tennis ball. This might give the impression that the foreground people were running to the background people, not chasing their ball?

Just my view but I think I'll keep the people and brightness and make the crop as suggested.

The ball stays, as for me that is the shot.
