Can anyone recommend or give adice on where to book, where to go and what to do...

Can only take 3 weeks as thats all myself n the GF can take/afford.. I'd like to see as much as I can as its doubtfull i'll ever get another chance to go back anytime soon but I don't want to feel like i'm rushing it.

I'm really interested in seeing China and its culture, would love to check out Tokyo but from what I can see it'd cost quite a bit to do that. I'd like to end the trip somewhere that I could chill for a day or two before getting back to work...

    Any advice much appreciated..

So many optons for 3 weeks :D

Try and focus on 3/4 places to get a feel for them would be my advice

Theres also lots of cheap airlines within Asia - Air Asia probably been the best
You can get a return flight to/from Bangkok or Singapore and make your own itenary for the few weeks making sure you get back for the flight home

Doing Tokyo and Bejing might be a bit much for one trip.
Also both are at the more expensive scale in comparision to other Asian destinations such as Thailand, Vietnam etc...

If you want to chill out - the Islands in Thailand are great, Ko Samui being my favourite

Angkor Wat in Cambodia is magnificent - something you wont forget

If you done something like the plan below, it could easily fit into 3 weeks

Land Bangkok (3 days) - fly to Beijing or maybe Hong Kong (8/9 days) - Return flight to Bangkok - Fly to Ko Samui (4 days) - Rtn Flight to Bangkok - home

Thai Airways fly direct to Beijing

Airaisa fly to Macau - you can get a bus/ferry to Hong Kong - as they are v.close - Macau is also beautiful - old portuguese architecture and not so crazy as Hong Kong

Airaisa fly to Surat Thani where you get the ferry to Ko Samui from

    Hope this helps
