So annoying trying to get the refund back on my laser card

I bought an item on the apple store using my laser card on the 28th of Feb and it turns out I didn't need it. I immediately cancelled the order on the 29th and I figured grand it should be about 2 days till I get the money back.

After 2 days, no sign of money. I rang Apple who informed my that the money is in holding and would take 5-7 working days to get the money back.

I rang the bank and they told me that the money is on hold by Laser and would take 10 working days to get back.

This is ridiculous! I can't believe it'll take so long to get money back from an order cancelled in less than 24 hrs. They were quick enough to take the money, but not exactly wanting to refund it.

Has anyone any solutions to how I might get the money back.

This thread really doesn't belong in Consumer issues either, so the mods would likely move it out quickly enough. It probably belongs in Banking as it's essentially an bank problem. I'll move it there if you want.

I think the only solution is just to wait though. There's not a lot you can do to speed up the refund process, and if Apple have issued the refund it'll be out of their hands too. It's down to the banks and Laser now.
