updating firmware n95 8gb

    I'm thinking about updating my firmware on a vodafone n95 8gb. what are the dangers? Has anybody ere done it before. I know the proceedures & all that but does your vodafone software get deleted i.e vodafone live settings etc

    Far as i can remember, when i ran the update it didn't change any settings.

    what debranding product code did you use? was it the euro1?

    mine worked fine with Euro1, though I lost the activation code on my Spiderman film

    If u did backup before upgrading then u can restore backup to use ur spiderman again.

    i backed up my phone also. got spiderman back no problem. Dont know why i bother upgrading my firmware anyways. did it to install some symbian products but you cant sign these programs anymore....bummer
