I need to get the recovery disk - the tech support number just leaves me on hold and eventually cuts me off - I assume its because the company is in liquidation - the UK tech support number is invalid now.

Can anybody get this for me? I'll pay...

iQon machines tend to have a hidden partition with the OS on it. So if you can try hitting F10 on startup.
    You will have three options.

    1. Windows File copy
    2. Non-destructive reinstall - Your old stuff is moved and will be under "My old disk structure (date)". You may have permission problems here and will need to grant ownership of all of it to the new admin account.
    3. Format and reinstall

..or F8 if the PC Angel recovery software was installed by iQon.

Tried this but it wont work.

What happened was initially the machine would start up an the blue screen of death would appear before I got into Windows. Then I decided to format the macin and reinstall windows from scratch - this began to work fine until I rebooted and during the GUI install part it crashed! Some man disk manifest file error - I trid 3 different Windows XP disks and the same thing happened - I thought it could be to do wth the hard driv and so I fdisk the machine by deleting the partition and creating a new one. Still this didn't make a difference so I think I could be screw'd!! Unless I get the recovery disk

    What do you think?
