epic trip of a lifetime traveling around France for two weeks (2500 miles)

I'm guessing this is for C&C,if not I apologise.Some great shots there. My faves would probably be 2,8 and 10. But 8 really does it for me,a very simple picture but it works great,composed very well with the tree to the right and the gently sloping hill.The only photo I'm not too gone on is no.4,it's just too wide with no definite subject,focusing on the appartments to the right might have made it far more interesting.Also the horizon seems to be slightly off in 6 and 7 but great work overall.

I'd also go with 8 and 10. Again, 8 in particular is really good.
Some of the other shots are a bit postcardy for my taste.

#5 could be really interesting - is that the original or did you contrast the bejesus out of it?!

cracking stuff.. wouldnt mind getting back on the bike and doing a tour of france again.

It's not as shopped as it looks, was really dark and street looked pretty much like that, loads of little pools of light going down loads of steps, just had that kind of image in my head.

We did, old countryside (Brittany),
ancient fortress thing(Mont St. Michelle),
bustling city(Paris),
17/18th century palace (Versailles, open to correction on dates. That's just a guess),
proper wine country (you could say the whole country, but specifically Burgogne, sp?),
lakeside camping in the mountains (Confolant, outside Clarmont-Ferrand, near Volvic, the water place.),
sunny beach holiday thing (Biarritz)
and then legged it back up the west coast, stopping in
La Rochelle(nicest meal ever),
Pornic (funny name, pretty boring otherwise, cool bridge, actually it was St. Brevin des Pins, but Pornic is funnier)
and Carnac(to see the Menhirs, loved Asterix and Obelix growing up, still do)

Even threw in a theme park along the way, Asterix park just outside Paris, absolutely no queues, it was brilliant.

1, 5, 8, 9, & 10 are my favourites. There is something about 9 that really appeals to me.

Some nice pics, I think stuffing the 10 in the thread is a bit of an overkill because people will glance through them quickly. If you stuck in 3-4 at a time it would give us time to study them. Number 8 does it for me.
