Basically what the title says. I did a security update last wednesday. It was the one recommended from Apple and it has been dropping my internet connection as a result. Rang Eircom to make sure everything was A OK on there end which it was. This happened to anyone else?

yep. its happening constantly on my macbook. It keeps dropping connection and i have to go back into network diagnostics to sort it out. It happened to me before the security update but less frequently.

What OS release? 10.5 or 10.4?
I have a 2006 MBP running 10.4.11 with all recent updates installed and no problems.

Maybe you need to delete a network or internet preference (.plist file) and re-enter your network and internet connection details?
