Very odd youtube problem!

    If I put a YouTube video playing and then set about doing something else then playback seems to pause all by itself... e.g. it stops if I open a new firefox tab or even if I scroll down through the comments on the youtube page til the video window is out of sight. Very odd - it keeps playing while the pause button etc at the bottom of the clip are visible but then stops as soon as its out of sight.

    Is this a weird new youtube feature or is it just me? Haven't tried any other video/flash sites yet.

    Using Firefox 2.0.0.12 on Win XP.

    Seems odd. Try using IE and do the same thing. If it happens, which i dont think it will, its a youtube thing. Other then that id say its a firefox/flash player problem

    Have you tried going into the youtube settings while on their site. I think there is an option there about doing this.
