Searching old ebay auctions

Is there a function for searching expired/finished ebay auctions (official or unofficial)? I'm sure I saw something about how to do it before?

If so, how far back can you go, or is it only sales that have finished within the last few weeks or months?

eBay only keep auctions for 60 days after they finish. Probably the only way to search is using Google. Try a search for something like "site:www.ebay.ie <search terms>"

Ah well - from what I can gather this sale is likely to have taken place a year or two ago, so no worries.

    Thanks

web.archive.org might have it, but it could be difficult to find.
