Dell XPS speakers not working

    Got Dell XPS in Nov 07. Speakers haven't been working for a while but get audio if earphones are used no popups have come up.

    Any Ideas?

    Unless the audio setting is muted then the speakers are probably blown. if under warrenty dell wil replace them free.

    Its not muted, i checked that. tried calling customer service n gave up after 17mins on hold.
