    Hi,
Can anyone suggest a package for creating your own webpage, or maybe a internet site that you can create and get your own website up and running??
I'm looking for it for a little bit of fun rather than for a big business. It would only have to be basic enough......

    Thanks in advance

you could get yourself a template from someplace like

    http://www.oswd.org/

you could also look into getting yourself a copy of www.xampp.org or wampserver

    And away you go ...

look into http://www.nvu.com/ as a web editor

for some reading ... there is
    http://www.w3schools.com/

    Good luck :)

I always have to go one step too far don't I :D

(I always forget what is simple and what's decidedly more complicated)

I'd probably go with sites.google.com if I was just starting on something for fun.

Hi, A little bit off the subject. There is a company in Ireland that provide websites with the company director etc speaking on the home page giving an introduction to the business and explaining the navigation. I received an email from them before but I cant for the life of me remember the company name and I am having no joy with Google. Does anybody know of this company of have a link to another company in Ireland that offer the same thing?

    Thanks!
