Poker at the Liffey Arms, Newbridge (Mon/Fri's)

    Poker at the Liffey Arms in Newbridge has moved from the bar to a dedicated card room above the pub. Fear not, there is a drinks service!

    A second night is being added to the roster (Friday is a €110 Hold'em Freezout) with a €55 tournament on Mondays (starting on March 10th) ...reg starts at 8pm with cards in the air at 8.30pm.

    Roy 'The Boy' Brindley from SKY Sports is a regular fixture at the venue and he is promising a Ladbrokes World Series and possibly a Poker Million satellite in weeks to come.


    There are two, sometime three full cash games with the Omaha/Hold'em round-of-each proving very popular - all games are dealer dealt.

    number (60 max, first-come-first-served)
    7. Type of Tournament (Texas Hold'em Freezeout)
    8. Cost of entry and any subsequent rebuys/top-ups
    etc. (€100 Freeze)
    9. Cost of registration (€10)
    10. % of entry fee/rebuys/top-up going into Prize fund (100%)
    11. Any guarenteed prize pool. (Not required)
    12. If applicable, Number of re-buys allowed and over
    what time frame/blind levels. (N/A)
    13. Starting Chips (10,000)
    14. Rebuy and Top-up chip amounts. (N/A)

    skill (yes, thoroughly professional)
    19. Will there be a documented list of rules YES
    20. Is there a tournament director (YES - Mags Manton from SKY)

    Thanks Gary.

    A €5,000 guarantee for Fridays will soon be in place and WSOP satellites during April, May and June aplenty.

    Just to reiterate the purpose built card room is on top of the Liffey Arms and not in it.
