iPod Touch or iPhone Have GPS ?

    Hi Guys,

    I was just wondering if the iPhone or iPod touch have gps / Sat Nav built in or can they be added on later ?

    No they don't......why didn't you just go to apple.com and check?!!!

    I did and O2.ie. Both places talk about maps on the iPhone. I wanted to make sure they didn't mean GPS. Thanks for clearing it up.

    neither have a GPS chip in them but when google maps you can plan a route in advance and it will bring you through it step by step ie.


    start outside "thegoths" house, follow the road and turn left (100m), continue up X road and turn left at traffic light 30m.... and so on...

    So there will probably be some form of GPS down the line after the SDK is launched.
