    very interesting experiment by norweigen tv. The BBC needs to do this there iplayer sucks balls.

    Interesting. It makes sense for home produced PSB programmes to be distributed this way

    Public service programes as a standard should be made available like this. It makes more sense when you consider the costs involved in having it online.

    Cant see it happening here any time soon

    .....taking into account that Norway is a small country with only 4,5 million people [mmm just like Ireland]

    .... download speeds achieved are reported to several megabits/s. The whole 600 MB file downloading in minutes or even seconds for the people with fast connections. [mmm just NOT like Ireland :rolleyes:]
