I'm pretty sure a bolt requires an FAC, and one would have to go through the sale as if a gun was being purchased in a private sale. A bolt would be hard to find.

I doubt you'll find one in a private sale, unless someone has lost/destroyed a rifle with a compatible and perfectly working bolt.

Your best bet is probably to talk to a dealer that stocks CZ rifles.

Yea I appriciate you need a FAC but just seeing whats out there with whos in the know, spoke with a importer in Ieland and a figure was mentioned of 300 euro to make one up. christ i might as well by a new rifle.

300 euro isnt a bad price if you think about the machining time required to manufacture a new bolt, the turning, milling etc, plus if it was someone doing a "one off" he'd have to get all his dimensions correct, could be a trial and error kinda job.
Out of curiosity did the importer tell you that you would need a FAC even if you got someone to machine it up?

I always assumed that if you needed a new bolt you could produce your existing FAC for the rifle to your local dealer and he could just simply order you a new one from the manufacturer?

    What happened to the original?

I can see why someone would say you'd need an FAC for it cause it's the important bit but how could you possibly get one, the bolt has no serial !!

Original owner had seperated bolt from rifle a few years previous and now one ia a thing of the past. As for one off machining the person I spoke to said it wasnt a problem he could make one up there and then, all he had to do was put it togeather as they came broken down so they can be made to spec.

These sell parts very cheap on line but will only deal with a licenced firearms dealer. Try to get your firearms dealer to order one for you.

Bolt usually does have a serial no. - Anschutz rifle bolts are marked with the last three digits of the receiver serial no. on the bolt face.

Just been on to the export manager and sent pictures of rifle and serial number of rifle, he says I will need buying permit from police but to send details to him and see. ?
