I see that Lidl are doing a Hurling range of products this week. They are endorsed by Brian Corcoran. Anybody have any of this stuff previously? Reviews? Opinions?

link here for anyone interested. I cant comment on the quality of the products as i havnt used them and dont play hurling! I'm sure the helmet would have to pass some sort of quality/safety checks so it should be good enough, but then again for 50 euro are you not as well spent few more for a brand you recognise? It is your head your protecting!!

So, where's the best place to buy hurleys around Dublin or mail from around the country. Have tow kids, one camogie and one hurling and they both go through a fair few sticks. They're only 13 and 8. Seems the hurleys are made of chalk!
Get them from the Glenalbyn shop.

Best place to get hurls is through your club or to actually go down to the manufacturers themselves, but you want to know what you're looing for and what makes a good hurl. O'Connor's from Newtownshandrom are quality hurls but I find they break a bit too easily. That may be my fault though!:D
