    Hi,
I've been to one (successful! :D) interview for University of Edinburgh PGDE Primary Teaching, I'm guessing they're all pretty much the same layout. There was about 30 of us in our session, we were brought into a large room where the head of the course introduced herself and said what the course was all about, explained how they carry out teaching practice etc. Then we were split into groups of 6, each group went into seperate rooms, they was 4 interviewers in each room. We were given 4 topics related to Education nowadays to discuss. (This was the part where I really freaked out, but it was actually grand) This took about 45 mins. Then we all left the room and were interviewed on a one to one basis by 2 interviewers. This bit is much easier, and if you are prepared, just relax, and let them see the real you, and make sure you get across the idea that this is definitely the career for you. Always refer back to situations in the classroom (even if you only have a days experience....milk it!!) that you can relate to the question they are asking. They need to feel confident that even if you have a small amount of experience, they would be picking the person most dedicated.
Hope I was of some help :)
