Marcomedia Fireworks 8 (Cropping)

    Been trying to crop an image here for the last 20 minutes using Marcomedia Fireworks 8 but can't seem to figure it out, any help?

    You've probably figured it out or tried the Fireworks help by now ;)

    Select the Crop tool from the Tools panel or select Edit > Crop Document

    Ok, well if you can find the crop tool, (toolbar, 2nd row, on the right - or just press c) draw a box with it around the part of the image you want to keep (move or resize it using the handles on the box if needed) and then hit return. The canvas area will resize to the box you drew and anything outside of it will be deleted.:D

    Alternatively you could use the Marquee tool (press m) to draw a selection box around what you want to keep, then right-click>edit>copy. Then file>new, edit>paste.
    This way you have a new image with the part you want, but still have the original in one piece. I usually use this method coz I'm paranoid about deleting :o
