    Hey,

I made my PSP slim battery a pandora one(hardware method) And from what i've read on the internet i should be able to charge it, but it aint charging!

I stuck a multimeter in to check its voltage to see if its fried and i'm getting 1.6V which would make think its not fried just out of charge(it should 3.6V btw)

    any sugestions?

    cheers

You could have blown one of the cells in the battery. Always the risk with the breaking the case open.

Does the PSP recognise the battery when you insert it? Try running off AC power and then insert the battery.

nearly should have just pm'd you!

no, doesnt think a battery is in at all.

Cells arent blown, opened it up again and i'm getting 3.7V across the cells(which kinda blows my out of charge theory out of the water), it worked as a pandora for a few minutes earlier today. and with out me doing anything it has stopped working as one!

any one have a psp slim battery that needs new cells?:D

Where do you reckon the best place to get a new pandora is? I've seen a few reg batterys being sold on adverts, but no one has replied to my wanted ad yet. I have a custom firmwared slim, but i'm not sure is that any use to me the pandora battery maker is probably only for 1.50

Amazon sell that datel Tool battery for about €20 is that my best bet?

Edit: sssh say nothing its charging right now!
