Work Experience Rewards

I heard from some people that they got rewarded for their work experience. One guy got a €100 voucher from HMV, another got a a new computer game from Microsoft...

Did anybody else get some sort of reward? It's a nice gesture and also a incentive to try harder for the week..

Did anyone get a reward and where were they working?

Also, could anyone tell me some good places to apply for jobs? Did anybody ever work at Google, Ebay, Microsoft, FM 104, Spin 1038, Game, HMW or any other companies of the sort? And what did you do?

Also, anybody that went to work in an office e.g. Price Waterhouse Coopers and such establishments, what did you have to do for the week?

Well, you could put it "reward", most people do get paid some sort of money....usually around 150 euro or so. it is, of course up to the employer

When i did mine back in the 90's i worked in a Christian bookshop. I was able to pick a christian music tape Yay....

When I done my work experience last year, I got a €100 for my weeks work.:cool:

My mate done work experience in FM104 last year, all he done was ring up in winners of prizes, he got to go out once in the beetle bugs, he used to do alot of office work afaik printing, posting letters, etc... He got a few cd's and passes to see the Oasis documtery.

when I went to a Computer place in wexford was promised some computer upgrades got feck all and my report was glowing my teacher told me b*stards :mad::mad: plus worked overtime:(:(

didnt get t do any cos the stupid school arranged the frech exchange on the same weeks as the work exp but my mate worked in spin 1038 and she came put with a few concert tickets cds spin goody bags nd stuff!! not bad but did a lot of office work...
it was good tho...she went out in the minis one day!

i got 200 euro for working in a stockbrokers, anyone know what you get in coyle hamilton willis insurance company

i worked in Waltons (the music shop) and got a 100euro voucher when i finished

Did 2 work exps:

Got a part time job out of the first one but no pay (although I've earned about 3 grand since from the job )

And I got about €300 worth of clothes off the second gaff.

I was happy to say the least:)

When I was in TY I worked for a record label and got loads of CDs, DVDs, posters, got a pair of gig tickets and dinner the night of it. Awesome week!

i did mine in my stables and got free lessons daily worth 30 euro and hour and got a voucher for 5 group lessons which are worth 20 euro each.
