Hiya I worked for them for a bit. I was very happy there but there are many people who would give you a totally different feedback on that. I can't tell you much about the interview as mine was for work placement initially, and then a fairly informal chat for the position after I graduated. Also, I was working in a different area, so I can't really comment on the job. What office location are you applying for?

As far as I know its based somewhere in Dublin.. maybe Citywest..? What division did you work in? Any particular reason your colleagues would take a different perspective to yours?? Many thanks!

    Hey,
Just saw this thread, I'm in the same position at the moment, going for an interview with the Kerry Group for the sales division of the Graduate Programme. How did you find the interview and what type of questions were you asked?

Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated!

I'm currently looking at a couple of Graduate in Kerry Group which interest me. I'm currently employed, so I'm hoping to gain any info on what the company is like to work for before I put myself out there?

Would anyone care to give me their opinions? PM if you want to keep it private.

    Thanks!

Hi there, just leaving this here for anyone involved in the assessments this year. It's the outline of the ICT Graduate Assessment Centre. It might come in handy...

    1. Numerical Exercise

    2. Individual Presentation on case study
1 hour to prepare 10 minute presentation (using PowerPoint)
There are a number of systems running in the organisation, they want to integrate it into a single system. Describe project life cycle. Use new product development systems (agile or waterfall). How will you design develop and implement a new single system.
    - How will you execute the plan?
    - Plan ; Design ; Implement ; Test ; Execution ;
    - Use diagrams and flow charts
    - What challenges will they face?

    3) Group Exercise
    - Group of 4/5
    - 30 minutes to read case; 25 minutes to work with team, share ideas etc
    - Present on flip chart
    - Prioritise the task; Complete on time
    - Questions:
o Why is IT important in Kerry?
o What IT developments will help Kerry's growth?
o How will IT help Kerry's a)suppliers b) customers (a few ideas for each)
o Challenges in IT in the food industry?

    4) Competency Questions – 40 minute interview
    a. Teamwork
    b. Communication
    c. Drive/motivation
    d. Your CV, academic background, why you studied what you did
    e. IT Analyst – what attracts you to the role?
    f. Why Kerry Group?
    g. What challenges do Kerry Group face?
    h. Who are Kerry Group's competitors?

Have a good idea of SAP (ERP) and it's benefits to a company like Kerry. They run a SAP program called Kerry Connect so there's a small bit of info online about this.

Be prepared to sit around twiddling your thumbs for large parts of the day, it's very poorly run.
